TGO

The Townsville Guitar Orchestra (TGO) was formed at the beginning of 2002 under the guidance of Joanne McCluskey, to provide performance opportunities for guitarists in the region. TGO is made up of school students, university students and members of the wider community and has performed widely in and around the Townsville region. They've performed for the Townsville City Council (and its predecessors), Music Centre North Queensland, Catholic Education and more.

TGO has been priviledged to work with a number of international artists including the Australian Guitar Quartet Saffire, Gareth Koch and Trish O'Brien, Karin Shaupp, Slava and Leonard Grigoryian, Richard Charlton and Paul Svoboda.
